And more new t-shirts….

Yes, that’s right, the title says it all. We’ve received more than 15 new t-shirt designs since we’ve restarted the blog. We are trying to update the website and the blog every couple of days with the new designs. Today, I’m posting the t-shirts we picked up from Tonz of Drumz and Ghetto Life. Now, if you have any knowledge of Los Angeles Drum and Bass and/or Jungle history, then you are familiar with both of these names. Tonz of Drumz is a label started by CRS? (or DJ CRS?) and Ghetto Life is run (and, I think owned) by APX1. Both are long time DJ’s in the Los Angeles Jungle Scene. Take a look at their tees, they are now available on line (radiofuturamusic.com) and in the Alhambra store. More photos after the jump

We’ve been stocking Ill Street Blues for a while now, we’ve picked up some new designs in the store (new designs for the store, but I think they’ve been out for a minute). I’ve been listening to the new Flytrap CD Release by MC Futuristic….excellent release. I especially like tracks 14, 15, and 16. Track 15 is my personal favorite, I can listen to it all day…on repeat..I’m a sucker for female vocals on a hip hop track. DAFT PUNK HELMET + TRON SOUNDRACK

Hey, I want one of those. Picked up this video on how this guy makes the Daft Punk helmets at home. This is a very talented guy with a lot of time on his hands. The video runs in fast forward mode through the 17 months that it took to put the helmets together. At the end of the video you can’t help but want to buy one. I think it would save you a lot of time.

Speaking of Daft Punk, they are finishing up the score for the highly anticipated Tron: Legacy film due out in December 2010. The Tron: Legacy, website reported that the duo grew up as fans of the 80’s film and are producing the score, “with extraordinary thought and precision.” You can check out samples of the scores on the official Tron: Legacy website. Or you can watch the latest trailer which debut at Comic-Con 2010 this last weekend. Check out the trailer. You can hear Daft Punk at work. Don’t forget we have some limited tees at the shop.
